Performance art has been taught at the University of Northern Iowa since 1993.  Each year, the UNI Department of Art presents two evenings of live art made by students enrolled in the Performance Art classes.  Each December, Vertigo AGo-Go encourages the students to explore performance within the context of the UNI Art Gallery.  In April, Vertigo Mini focuses on durational works that happen throughout the rooms and display cases at the Kamerick Art Building.  Both exhibitions are major end-of-semester events drawing huge crowds.
